Why I decided to create a Blog?
Welcome to the blog!
I’m Ozy, a trader who stumbled into coding not to become a programmer, but because I was just tired of doing things the hard way.
I’ve been trading for about six years — stocks, forex, crypto — if there’s a market, I’ve probably tried it (and lost money on it at some point too). About three years ago, I picked up Python. Not to build apps or work in tech, but to automate and test my trading ideas without losing my mind (or more money).
So… Why This Blog?
This blog is just a place for me to share what I’m working on. No fancy promises. No “millionaire in 30 days” vibes. Just raw stuff — some strategies, some charts, a lot of code (both clean and messy), and plenty of trial and error.
If you’re into trading and also curious about how code can help you analyze and test your ideas, I think you’ll enjoy it here.
But let’s get one thing clear…
What You Will Find Here:
Trading ideas (some that work, some that flop)
Simple Python scripts for analyzing markets
Charts, backtesting results, and lessons from wins and fails
Honest commentary with zero hype
What You Won’t Find Here:
“Secret strategies” or magic formulas
Courses that promise you’ll get rich
Deep coding tutorials — I won’t be teaching you how to code from scratch. But if you know a bit of Python, you’ll be able to follow along.
Why Bother Reading?
If you’re like me — someone who trades but also likes tinkering with code — this blog might help you save time, get new ideas, or at least have a laugh when something inevitably breaks.
I’m just sharing what I learn as I go. Maybe it’ll help you skip a few mistakes. Or maybe you’ll just enjoy the journey.
Thanks for being here.
— Ozy
P.S. There are no paywalls or memberships (yet). If I ever add that, it’ll only be because I’ve got something genuinely useful and worth paying for.
